  Do you think Witnesses would drink the "Cool-Aid" if told to do so...like Jonestown?

  jonestown 1970's, jim jones brainwashed his 900 member cult into committing mass suicide by drinking cyanide cool-aid.

  only three escaped.

  {the smart ones} one man hid under a building....another escaped into the jungle while armed guards dragged another member to get injected by force.

Only three escaped. {the smart ones} One man hid under a building....another escaped into the jungle while armed guards dragged another member to get injected by force. {Some violently protested after seeing the 5 minute death, froathing at the mouth} Most went VERY willingly, kids and babies first, then parents.

  I was thinking how many Witnesses do you think would drink the "cool-aid" if the Governing body ordered it.....I know some would protest but my anionted mother would do it in a heartbeat.

  one of the things that most bothered me about the bible, is the narcasist, lunatic jehovah who orders killings of women, children, starts wars, etc....and the advent of peaceful jesus.

  some people say that jehovah was a killer to protect "his" people, but couldn't a perfect, all-knowing god have found a way better then to walk on the earth and tell abraham to kill his first born son?.

  on my spiritual journey, i now see how the earlier gods (roman, greek, pagan) are intertwined into the old testament.

  recently i have received notes/letters with tracts enclosed from jw's.

  they are coming from a kingdom hall i wasn't affiliated with, and from people i don't know.

  i have been disassociated since 1996. but these letters are addressed to me (name spelled correctly with current address).

  yes apparently the staff at the twin towers on 9/11 didn't notice the explosives strapped to all the beams on each floor......of course a plane fully loaded with jet fuel going so fast it nearly flew through the building {blew out the otherside} would not be enough to cause a collapse.

  the building were glowing red!

  people jumped due to the heat and smoke.

  crime channel = a family of four were murdered at a tennasee rest stop.

  one of the killers a teenager girl said.

  "the man aproached me at the rest stop and asked me if i believed in god, he said he was a jehovah's witness..." the four youths are serving life in prison.

The little boy was shot in the eye but survived. They ran the parents over as they drove off in their van.

  Too many Witnesses "trust in Jehovah's protection" in field service. I know young Pioneer Sisters who would preach alone in bad areas with no worries at all....because Jehovah was there.

  They always use the "time and unforseen occurance" loophole. But if these Witnesses somehow survived, they would proclaim devine protection.
